It happens all the time. You visited Costa Rica, fell in love with the pura vida lifestyle and now you want to quit your job and move here. AWESOME! However, the reality is that vacationing in Costa Rica and actually living here are 2 completely different things. In fact, about 60% of expats end up moving back to where they came from! The purpose of this program is to experience and "practice" living in Costa Rica like a local, not like the tourist you were on your first trip here.

We will provide our knowledge and resources to guide you in how you can take care of your basic needs here (work, housing, transportation, medical care, grocery shopping, schooling, residency, etc).

This program is for anyone who is serious about moving to Costa Rica.

You can be any age, single or with a family, any income level (working or retired) and interested in living here temporarily or for a lifetime.

Upon completion of the program, you can expect to:

• Know if moving to Costa Rica is the right decision for you, and if so- be prepared with the knowledge and resources to make the move!
• Have a feeling and understanding of the culture
• Learn how to take care of your basic needs here (work, housing, transportation, medical care, grocery shopping, schooling, residency, etc)
• Get connected to recommended contact people that you can trust (immigration lawyer, real estate agent, doctor, mechanic)
• Have us as your local friends! You will be able to say you already have friends in the new country you are moving to. You will not be alone in this!
